Our student Hamza Günaydın organized a line exhibition with IUS Student Career Center (SCC). He presented his works, displaying various souvenirs, name tags and bookmarks, on request, in beautifully written calligraphy with the names of the buyers. The income from the exhibition was donated to the Charity Club, which provides assistance to families in need. We appreciate creativity and hard work for a good purpose!
"Just code it" hackathon the main idea was to create an application that would be used by the students. This was the only requirement for the challenge. We had 24h to complete our application and present it to the judges.
ALAS Club organised 'Blood Donation Day' and our staff and student had a change to dante their blood. The donors can pick up their blood donation card at Student and Career Center. Thank you for the participation, your blood may save someone's life.
On the 20th of November, IYBB organized a conference on the topic of Sharing Benefits Of Travel. Speakers from 4 different nations gave information about their countries and nations, and then shared their experiences about the countries they traveled to. The conference, moderated by Erna Preljevic, started with Sufyan Musah, the first speaker. He first talked about the culture, religion, and geography of his own country, Ghana. Later, he explained the information and experiences about his internship in America and Sivas, where he studied the university. Elif Şentürk, who is the second speaker, talked about her experiences as a student in the countries she traveled, and how she could make more economical travels. Merjem Hussein, the third speaker, gave information about the countries he visited and described as important in his life while he gave information about Egypt and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The fourth speaker, Muhammed Shraim, talked about his experiences about the Arabian peninsula and listened to the audience with astonishment with his experiences and inferences. The IYBB management announced that these conferences would continue at the end of the conference and that the experiences and remarkable information from different countries would continue.
On November 7, 2019, Catı Club performed the second program of "Academy of History and Civilization". The head of the Faculty of Social Sciences participated in the program as a speaker. Mr. Muhidin Mulalić gave a lecture the participants about "Psycho-social Traits of Great Leaders". In terms of content, participants were presented in details how great leaders' characteristics should be. The program was terminated with question and answer by mentioning the characteristics of the leaders from history and today.
On October 24, 2019, Catı Club performed the first of its "Academy of History and Civilization" program. In the first program, the Dean of Law participated as a speaker. Dear Aliye Fatma Mataracı told the participants about "Political Identity of Bosnia and Herzegovina from Past to Present". In terms of content, the meaning of Muslim and Turkish concepts, which have come from history in Bosnia to the present day, has been mentioned in detail. The program was terminated with question and answer.
Between 8 and 11 October, IPSA Balkans promoted their club to faculty students in B Building and also to ELS students in ELS floor. They presented their collaboration partners that are TPOCG (Turkish Psychology Students Working Group) and POMYAP (Psychology Students Profession Act Platform).
While the promotion week of IPSA Balkans had interactive activities for getting attention of university students.
