EMINA BAŠIĆ & MIRZA RASTODER - Who runs the world? – IR students!

Our story begins back in 2013 when we met at IUS and decided to "goof around". And so, more than 50 projects/activities were done by "joking around", where we acted, danced, gave lectures, brought in important people, and so much more.

A lot of those situations helped us enter the world of business today and become little "feningaši". Our names are Emina Bašić and Mirza Rastoder, former students of IUS in International and Public Relations, where we also gained our first working experiences. In four years of our studies, there was not a single course or project where we didn’t work on individually. These are the things that we were taught at the IUS, and also, we used every chance to show and prove what we are capable of doing. IUS Got Talent is an example of that, we applied to that show as a joke, and we won it. This kind of support that we have received means a world for young people like us. We are a bit surprised that there are still institutions and people who understand your ideas and wish to help you to execute them.

Two years after graduation, together with another friend, Edin Sabljica, we began the adventure of "changing the world" by entering the business currents. By winning Sarajevo Business Forum Start up Challenge competition organized by BBI Bank, where we presented the idea of a university HUB, called HOMEWORK HUB we opened a multi-functional space for students to study, prepare exams and presentations, and organize seminars and workshops all together with relaxing atmosphere and environment.

Homework will help all young people (including high school students) to do their assignments, develop new ideas and learn how to work in a team.

When we won, of course, we were thrilled, because finally, someone understood our idea and enthusiasm to work hard. But two days later we realized that that victory comes with great responsibility because we now need to implement everything we had written about. Of course, we will come to the finish line and implement our idea, where our main vision is to become the largest educational and homework center in Sarajevo Canton, but also in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During our studies, we often needed a space to study in groups and work on projects. That was the reason we decided to help future generations by designing our project, “Homework”.

Homework will help all young people (including high school students) to do their assignments, develop new ideas and learn how to work in a team.

Five months later, we can say that with hard work, Homework HUB is slowly but surely becoming the center for all young people who will, later on, serve the community and the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
